Russia to officially get iPhone 8, 8 Plus on Sep 29, iPhone X on Nov 3
MOSCOW, Sep 13 (PRIME) -- Apple’s recently unveiled iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available in Russia on September 29 and iPhone X on November 3, according to the company’s statements released late on Tuesday.
“The new iPhone (8 and 8 Plus) features a new glass and aluminum design in three beautiful colors made out of the most durable glass ever in a smartphone, Retina HD displays and A11 Bionic chip, and is designed for the ultimate augmented reality experience,” the Cupertino-domiciled company said.
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available in space gray, silver, and an all-new gold finish in increased 64GB and 256GB capacity models starting at U.S. $699 from Apple’s online store, Apple Stores, and through authorized resellers.
According to portal Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru, iPhone 8 will cost in Russia 56,990 rubles for 64GB and 68,990 rubles for 256GB, and iPhone 8 Plus will cost 64,990 rubles for 64GB and 76,990 rubles for 256GB.
iPhone X is said to be “the future of the smartphone” with a 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip, wireless charging and an improved rear camera with dual optical image stabilization. iPhone X will be available in silver and space gray in 64GB and 256GB models starting at $999.
iPhone X will cost 79,990 rubles in Russia for 64GB and 91,990 rubles for 256GB, as Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru said.
